Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Sunday’s trading session with a negative performance, pressured by the fall of most sectors.
By 10:38 am Saudi time, TASI dropped 20.20 points, or 0.2%, to 9,067.77 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 17.38 million shares exchanged through nearly 17,030 transactions at a turnover of SAR 395.55 million.
The investment and finance services sector was the top decliner with 0.56%, followed by the pharmaceuticals and food production sectors which tumbled 0.5% and 0.45%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the banking sector fell 0.38%, while the basic materials and telecommunications sectors dropped 0.14% and 0.07%, respectively.
On the other hand, the food retail sector was the top gainer with 2.1%, followed by the energy sector with 0.7%.
Saudi Real Estate’s stock headed decliners with 4.8%, whereas CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance’s stock topped risers and added 5.3%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, was stable at 3,679.81 points.
