UAE – Mubasher: Oxford Business Group (OBG), an international research company, has promoted Billy FitzHerbert as the regional editor for its foreign operations in the Middle East, the company said in a statement.
The newly promoted editor, who joined OBG as an analyst, will manage the research and editorial output of the consultancy firm’s teams covering markets across the Middle East.
FitzHerbert, originally from Ireland, has been based at OBG’s Middle East office since 2014.
FitzHerbert expressed his delight with his broadening responsibilities, at a time the Middle East was witnessing a change.
“Many of the markets that we cover are shifting away from a reliance on oil and focusing instead on the sectors that will enable them to move towards a knowledge-led economy,” he said.
