UAE – Mubasher: ZonesCorp, one of the UAE’s largest developers of purpose-built economic zones, will uncover two new megaprojects in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain on the sidelines of Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2019, state-run news agency WAM said.

The largest real estate exhibition in the UAE kicks off in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, 16 April, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

Ending on 18 April, the leading property investment and development event in Abu Dhabi brings together investors, homebuyers, and industry professionals with leading property developers to buy, sell, network, and exchange ideas, according to a press release.

Abu Dhabi-based ZonesCorp said that the new projects, spread over an area of 2 million square metres, will support an extensive range of industrial and commercial activities. 

Set to be located in Abu Dhabi’s ICAD Zone 3, the first project will include the ICAD Business Park over an area of 1.1 million square metres.

Spanning a total area of 155,000 square metres, the second project will be established in Al Ain Investment Complex in Al Ain Economic Zone, ZonesCorp noted.

Both projects will include an incubator and specialised units equipped to host industrial activities that cater to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the company added.

Moreover, the two projects will feature integrated industrial cities featuring commercial and residential complexes, shopping and entertainment centres, medical centres, and spacious car parks, in addition to organic food centres.

"ZonesCorp’s strategic planning and objectives aim to attract further local and international investments in line with Ghadan 21, the AED50 billion three-year development programme launched in 2018 by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The initiative focuses on four main tenets – business and investment, society, knowledge and innovation, and lifestyle,” Saeed Eisa Mohammed Al Khyeli, director general of ZonesCorp, said.

It is worth noting that the three-day event is showcasing a portfolio of exciting new projects that will transform Abu Dhabi and make the GCC emirate one of the most liveable cities in the world by 2021, as part of the Ghadan 2021 Plan.
