Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday’s trading session with positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 32.3 points, or 0.35%, to 9,171.86 points.

By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume hit 30.7 million shares exchanged through 24,000 transactions at a turnover of SAR 769.3 million.

The banking and telecommunication services sectors levelled up 0.76% and 0.16%, respectively.

On the flipside, the media sector led losers with 2.3%, while the materials sector shed 0.11%.

Alinma Bank’s stock was the best performer with 2.9%, while Saudi Cement Company’s stock led losers with 2.9%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,682.59 points.
