QNB ISSUES FORMOSA BONDS IN US DOLLARS IN ACCORDANCE WITH REG S STANDARDS
QNB Group announced another successfulcompletion of a Formosa bond issuance under its Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN)programme, dual listed on the Taipei and London Stock Exchanges.
Under this programme, a US$ 850 milliontranche was issued with a maturity of 3 years. The issuance was part of QNBGroup’s strategy to diversify funding from new markets.
The Reg S issue attracted strong interestfrom investors globally, especially Asia, and was arranged by StandardChartered Bank (Taiwan) Limited. This success confirms the trust ofinternational investors in QNB Group’s strategy and the strength of itsfinancial position.
