Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) general index grew 89.12 points, or 0.87%, to 10,348.19 points in a week.
Market capitalisation rose to QAR 579.35 billion ($159.12 billion) over the week, compared to QAR 574.84 billion ($157.88 billion) a week earlier.
The banking, transport, telecom, and insurance sectors went up 1.58%, 0.52%, 0.49%, and 0.49%, respectively.
Meanwhile, both the real estate and goods sectors inched down 0.09% and 0.01%, respectively.
The QSE’s trading volume reached 80.19 million shares over the week, while the market’s liquidity hit QAR 1.3 billion.
