Cairo – Mubasher: El-Attal Holding is currently in talks with the Egyptian government to build social housing units outside Cairo, the company’s chairman said.

The real estate firm is negotiating with state-run entities to establish housing projects for low- and middle-income classes, Ahmed El-Attal told Mubasher on Sunday.

The residential units will be implemented in the neediest areas whether in Lower or Upper Egypt, El-Attal highlighted.

The deal is expected to be sealed with the government prior to the end of April, he indicated.

Last week, El-Attal told Mubasher that El-Attal Holding plans to invest EGP 11 billion in three residential projects within the coming three years.

The three projects to be set up in the New Administrative Capital, New El Alamein, and Ain Sokhna, the chairman added.
