Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Sharjah Insurance Company’s general assembly has approved distributing cash dividends worth 7 fils per share, representing 7% of the share’s nominal value, for the year ended 31 December 2018.

Total proposed dividends amounted to AED 9.63 million, according to the company’s statement to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) on Tuesday.

Sharjah Insurance’s capital stands at AED 137.5 million, divided into 137.5 million shares at a nominal value of AED a share.

In 2017, the company’s board recommended 7% cash dividends or 7 fils per share for fiscal year 2016.
