UAE – Mubasher: The 19th edition of Airport Show 2019 was launched on Monday, 29 April, in Dubai at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).

The world’s largest annual airport exhibition carries the theme “Smart Airports,” according to the event’s website.

Ending on 1 May, the event will present a selection of innovators from across the globe, displaying their breakthrough technologies set to shape the future airport experience.

The three-day event will host up to 375 exhibitors from 60 countries.

There will be 143 international companies participating, of which 42 are new international exhibitors.

More than 7,500 attendees are expected to register to attend the event.

Covering an area of 15,000 square metres across three halls of DICEC, the show will also have two co-located events are the “Air Traffic Control Forum” and “Airport Security Middle East”.

Participating countries include Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, the UAE, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Pakistan, India, Maldives, and Seychelles among others.
