French Business Council inks MoU to promote France at Expo 2020
Both parties will work on attracting relevant authorities in the UAE

Dubai – Mubasher: The French Business Council Dubai & Northern Emirates has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Compagnie Française des Expositions (Cofrex), the company in charge of the French pavilion at Expo 2020, to promote France before and during world expo to be held in Dubai.

Upon the MoU, both parties will work on attracting relevant authorities in the UAE including companies and institutional partners to joint projects, according to a press release.

This came on the sidelines of the annual gala dinner of the French Business Council in Dubai & Northern Emirates at Dubai Opera in the presence of Omar Sultan Al Olama, the UAE’s minister of state for artificial intelligence, French minister of transport Elisabeth Borne, and French Ambassador to the UAE Ludovic Pouille.

The six-month Expo 2020 Dubai, the first ever World Expo to take place in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region, will take place during the period between 20 October 2020 and 10 April 2021 and is expected to welcome more than 25 million visitors.
