Mubasher: Noor Financial Investment Company’s (Noor) shareholders approved the board’s proposal to distribute cash dividends worth KWD 2.04 million at 5 fils per share for the full fiscal year 2018 during a meeting held on Wednesday.

The eligibility of dividends shall be for the shareholders registered in Noor’s registries by the eligibility date on 28 May, according to a statement to Boursa Kuwait.

The firm said dividends will be paid on 2 June.

Noor’s shareholders also agreed to pay KWD 126,000 in remuneration to the board members for FY18.

The company’s board of directors will meet on 12 May to discuss the financial statements of the first quarter of 2019, Noor told the bourse in a statement. 

In 2018, Noor’s profits skyrocketed 774.9% to KWD 24.83 million, against KWD 2.84 million a year ago.
