Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 112.62 points, or 1.35%, reaching 8,479.26 points.
By 10:44 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 26.09 million shares exchanged through 22,380 transactions at a turnover of SAR 710.72 million.
The banking sector led the gainers with 1.8%, followed by the healthcare and telecommunication services sectors with 1.8% and 1.5%, respectively.
On the other hand, the food and staples retailing sector shed 0.4%, and the energy sector fell 0.16%.
BATIC Investment and Logistics Company (BATIC) topped the winners with 7.6%, whereas Walaa Cooperative Insurance was the worst performer with 7.8%.
In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, remained unchanged at 3,483.85 points.
