ADX sheds 126.6 pts at Tuesday’s close
Market capitalisation lost AED 5.47 billion

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has fallen for the second day in a row, closing Tuesday’s trading session at 4,802.58 points after losing 126.64 points or 2.57%.

Market capitalisation shed AED 5.47 billion and ended the mid-week session at AED 493.953 billion, versus AED 499.422 billion on Monday.

The banks sector, down 5.39%, has dragged down the ADX’s general as the heavyweight First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) dropped 8.57%.

On the other hand, the telecommunication sector rose by 3.55% as Etisalat increased by the same percentage.

The energy sector went up by 3.15%, backed by Dana Gas which jumped 5.20% after being included to the MSCI emerging-market index.

Similarly, the real estate sector added 2.78% on the back of Aldar Properties’ stock which levelled up 2.40%.
