Mubasher: Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex Company’s profit decreased by 6.5% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2019, recording BHD 2.57 million ($6.82 million).

Earnings per share declined to 18.11 fils in Q1-19 versus 19.38 fils in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Tuesday.

Return of investments sank 22.2% to BHD 988,910 in the three-month period ended 31 March from BHD 1.27 million a year earlier.

In 2018, the Bahrain-listed company grew to BHD 7.479 million, compared to BHD 7.091 million in 2017.
