Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound has stabilised earlier on Wednesday at 18 national banks.

The USD remained stable against the EGP at National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Arab African International Bank (AAIB) at EGP 17.03 for buying and EGP 17.13 for selling.

Likewise, the USD-EGP exchange rate has stabilised at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) at EGP 17.1 for buying and EGP 17.2 for selling.

In addition, the exchange rate between both currencies settled at EGP 17.13 for purchasing and EGP 17.2 for selling at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB).

Meanwhile, the USD-EGP exchange rate remained unchanged at Housing and Development Bank (HDB), Al Baraka Bank, and Suez Canal Bank at EGP 17.04 for purchasing and EGP 17.14 for selling.

Previously, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) revealed that the USD has dropped against the EGP by about 84 piasters since the beginning of 2019, supported by foreign cash inflows.
