Dubai – Mubasher: Dar Al Takaful has reported a profit attributable to shareholders for the first quarter of 2019 of AED 2.13 million, compared to AED 3.07 million in the year-ago period.
Total takaful income stood at AED 17.22 million in the January-March period of 2010, compared to AED 23.8 million in Q1-18, the UAE-based insurer said in a statement.
Loss per share (LPS) was AED 0.014 as at end of March, versus AED 0.021 in Q1-18, the company added.
Total underwriting income fell to AED 38.9 million in Q1-19 from AED 52.14 million in the year-ago period.
Total assets amounted to AED 517.33 million in the first three months of 2019, versus AED 464.6 million at the end of December 2018.
