Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose by 106.4 points, or 1.27%, to close at 8,480.7 points on Wednesday.

TASI’s turnover retreated to SAR 5.717 billion on Wednesday from SAR 6.417 billion in the previous session.

The retailing sector headed risers and added 4.54%, followed by the healthcare sector which grew by 3.09%.

Meanwhile, the banking, telecommunications, and basic materials sectors advanced by 1.57%, 0.93%, and 0.47%, respectively.

On the other hand, the food production sector retreated 0.7%.

CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance’s stock topped gainers after rising 9.99% to SAR 22.24, whereas Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance’s stock headed fallers and dropped by 5.11% to SAR 26.

Saudi Basic Industries Corp’s (SABIC) stock led TASI in terms of turnover with SAR 944.57 million.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, rose by 0.65%, or 22.58 points, to finish the session at 3,497.35 points.
