ADX hits lowest in 10M on Thursday
Trading volume amounted to 41.650 million shares

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has closed Thursday, the last trading session of the week, in red territory.

The ADX’s general index fell 58.31 points, or 1.22%, to 4,719.26 points, its lowest level since July 2018.

Trading volume amounted to 41.650 million shares exchanged through 1,596 transactions at a turnover of AED 195.143 million.

The telecommunication sector dropped by 1.67% as Etisalat fell by the same percentage.

Similarly, the banks sector slid 1.45% after First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) shed 2.14%, while the real estate sector inched down 0.09% when RAK Properties fell 1.19%.

On the other hand, the consumer services sector added 1.13% on the back of Abu Dhabi National Hotels which rose 2.46%, and the energy sector edged up 0.55% backed by Dana Gas which rose by 1.23%.
