Mubasher: Bahrain-based Investcorp, a leading provider and manager of alternative investment product, said the company’s subsidiary Strategic Capital Group (SCG) has partnered with Dock Square Capital LLC (Dock Square).

“Our partnership with Dock Square will allow us to establish and deepen our relationships with top alternative investment managers,” Investcorp’s Co-CEO Rishi Kapoor said in a statement.

Founded in 2018, Investcorp’s unit cooperates with and acquires minority stakes in established mid-sized alternative asset managers, including private equity, private debt, real estate, venture capital and hedge fund managers.

“I am very excited to partner with Investcorp and SCG in their effort to build a premier minority staking platform focused on mid-sized firms,” Jeb Bush, who was Dock Square’s former governor, stated.

Bush is set to serve on SCG’s advisory board, while Dock Square will act as a resource to SCG, according to the statement.

Dock Square is an advisory and merchant banking company established on the core principles of transparency, creativity, trust, and alignment of interest.
