Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday’s trading session with positive performance, supported by the growth of blue-chip stocks.
By 10:30 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) grew 0.69%, or 58.48 points, to 8,527.4 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 10.6 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 316.94 million through 11,940 transactions.
The software and services sector topped the risers after adding 1.5%, followed by the media and banking sectors with 1.46% and 0.89%, respectively.
The material sector increased by 0.57%, followed by the telecommunication sector with 0.54%.
Meanwhile, the retailing sector headed the decliners with a 1.41% drop.
On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, inched down by 0.02%, or 0.56 points, to 3,479.8 points.
