UAE – Mubasher: The UAE will offer a new package of tenders worth AED 800 million over the coming period for Expo 2020 projects, according to the vice president of real estate and delivery at Expo 2020.

Almost 95% of infrastructure and construction works of the Dubai Expo 2020 site are complete, Ahmed Al Khatib said. 

The site’s construction works are set to be completely finished by the end of 2019, to be tested during the second quarter of 2020, he added. 

The six-month Expo 2020 Dubai will be held during the period between 20 October 2020 and 10 April 2021 and is expected to welcome more than 25 million visitors.
