Mubasher: Oil futures went down at Thursday’s settlement, marking the lowest level since 12 March.

June Nymex WTI lost $3.51, or 5.7%, to close at $57.91 per barrel. 

Energy Information Administration (EIA) revealed that the US natural gas inventories surged by 100 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in the week ended 17 May, totalling 1,753 Bcf.
