Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX( rose 58.05 points, or 1.23%, to 4,777.31 points in a week, backed by the energy and the banking sectors.

Market capitalisation gained AED 5.36 billion to AED 491.497 billion over the week, compared to AED 486.132 billion a week earlier.

The energy sector went up 3.56%, as Dana Gas gained 4.98%, while the banking sector rose 1.43% after First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) increased by 1.46%.

The telecommunications sector and its only stock, Etisalat, levelled up 1.04% each.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 212.336 million shares in a week, while the market’s liquidity hit AED 697.392 million.
