Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday’s trading session with negative performance, pressured by blue-chip stocks.
By 10:40 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) inched down 0.18%, or 15.36 points, to 8,366.61 points.
TASI’s traded volume reached 30 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 971.26 million through 29,370 transactions.
The food and beverages sector topped the losers with a fall of 0.46%, followed by the material and telecommunication sectors with 0.36% and 0.35%, respectively.
Similarly, the banking sector plunged 0.24%. Meanwhile, the software and services sector headed the gainers after adding 3.13%.
On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,410.49 points.
