Bahrain PM announces Eid Al Fitr holiday

Mubasher: The Prime Minister of Bahrain Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has issued a decree announcing the Eid Al Fitr holiday for the Hijri year 1440.

Upon the decree, all ministries and government entities in the kingdom will be closed for three days, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

The Eid holiday will be extended if any of its days coincides with the weekend.

Eid Al Fitr holiday is expected to begin next Tuesday, 4 June.

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) and the UAE’s twin bourses; the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) are already closed as of Sunday, 2 June, on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
