Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries reported a 7.41% year-on-year decline in its profits during the first ten months of fiscal year 2018/2019.

Net profits retreated to EGP 112.607 million in the July-April period of FY18/19, compared to EGP 121.625 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.

Year-on-year, revenues rose to EGP 735.653 million in the ten-month period ended 30 April from EGP 654.878 million.

During the first nine months of FY18/19, the company logged a net profit of EGP 104.69 million, compared to EGP 106.03 million in the same period a year earlier.

Revenues grew to EGP 669.71 million in the nine-month period ended 31 March from EGP 591.13 million in the prior-year period.
