WETEX, Dubai Solar Show to launch next October
DEWA organises WETEX for the sixth consecutive year in line with the Green Week

UAE – Mubasher: The 21st edition of Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX), being organised by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), will be held from 21 to 23 October 2019 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

DEWA organises WETEX for the sixth consecutive year in line with the Green Week, according to a press release.

The three-day event is being arranged under the directives of the UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister of and Ruler of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and under the patronage of deputy ruler of Dubai, minister of finance, and president of DEWA Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

WETEX aims at raising awareness on various environmental activities such as using energy and water sensibly and the main components of sustainable development and green economy.

The 21st WETEX and the 4th Dubai Solar Show will allow its visitors to review state-of-the-art innovative solutions in energy, water, and the environment, the release indicated.

Several technologies will make its debut in the two exhibitions, mainly in renewable energy, water, sustainability, and rationalisation.

Companies and organisation can promote their products, services, and innovative technologies through these events, as well as meet decision-makers, investors, buyers from around the world.

The exhibitions will enable companies to “make deals, build partnerships, review the latest technologies in these sectors, learn about current and future projects and market needs, and explore opportunities to take part in solar-energy projects and programmes in the region,” the release highlighted.

It is worth noting that the 20th WETEX and the 3rd Dubai Solar Show, which took place in October 2018, were very successful with the participation of many exhibitors, visitors, participants, and government organisations.

Extending over 78,413 square metres, the two exhibitions attracted 2,100 exhibitors from 53 countries, and attracted over 35,000 visitors from all over the world.
