China’s OPPO extends footprint in GCC via UAE’s Lulu Hypermarket
Both companies will work jointly to provide marketing support in a number of GCC countries

UAE – Mubasher: OPPO, a leading global smartphone brand based in China, on Tuesday announced it is extending its footprint in the GCC region with its latest partnership with the UAE’s Lulu Hypermarket, one of the largest retailers in GCC.

Upon the new partnership, Lulu Hypermarket will act as a new distributor for OPPO’s smartphones, according to a press release.

Both companies will work jointly to provide marketing support in a number of GCC countries, OPPO said.

Andy Shi, president of OPPO Middle East and Africa, said: “We are thrilled to enter into partnerships with prestigious brands such as Lulu Hypermarket. This new collaboration will help to take OPPO further across the region, by placing our smartphones in some of our consumers’ favourite retail locations.”

“This growth signifies the success of our brand in the GCC and sets the stage for continued evolution of OPPO in this exciting and promising market,” Shi added.

OPPO has been expanding the Middle East over the past months through a number of local partnerships with leading communications providers and distribution partners

It is worth noting that the Chinese company has established its regional headquarters in Dubai, which was selected to witness the first international launch of the new OPPO Reno series.
