Dubai FDI to participate as sponsor in World Forum for FDI 2019
Dubai FDI will host the next edition of the forum in 2021, during the time of Expo 2020.

UAE – Mubasher: Dubai Investment Development Agency (Dubai FDI) revealed that it will take part in the upcoming World Forum for FDI 2019 as an event sponsor.

The forum will take place during the period between 17 and 19 June in Sydney, New South Wales, Dubai FDI, the investment development agency of the Department of Economic Development (DED), said in a statement on Sunday.

“Dubai FDI continues to engage in global initiatives that offer new opportunities to present Dubai’s leading efforts in creating an ideal investment destination,” Fahad Al Gergaw, CEO of Dubai FDI, commented.

The three-day event will handle future trends in the next 25 years, while site selection experts set to tackle the issues impacting foreign direct investments (FDI).

The forum, which is one of the world’s premier events on FDI, will host hundreds of leading corporate executives, site consultants, experts, and dealmakers.

During the event, Dubai FDI will be showcasing Dubai’s investment opportunities as the world’s most preferred investment destination, featuring some of its highly invested sectors such as technology, healthcare, aviation and logistics.

“We are confident that participating at the World Forum for FDI 2019 will further boost our presence in Australia’s investment market as well as connect with leading investors worldwide. Dubai has always been a high growth market for Australia which considers the UAE as its largest trading partner in the Middle East,” Al Gergaw added.

It is worth mentioning that Dubai FDI will host the next edition of the forum in 2021, during the time of Expo 2020.

“We are excited to bring together one of the world’s largest FDI events to the Middle East in partnership with CONWAY. It is another milestone in the making for the emirate, in keeping with our global reputation as the preferred investment destination worldwide,” the CEO concluded.

The six-month Expo 2020 Dubai, the first ever World Expo to take place in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region, will take place during the period between 20 October 2020 and 10 April 2021 and is expected to welcome more than 25 million visitors.
