Mubasher: Banking technology giant Finastra on Tuesday announced the appointment of Mark Miller, a seasoned executive, as its CFO, effective from 13 May, according to the company’s statement.

Miller would replace Robb Binns, who decided to step down after serving as CFO for three years, leading Finastra’s general and administrative divisions, including finance, risk, information technology and procurement.

A certified public accountant, with around 25 years of financial and operational experience, Miller worked at several technology-leading companies, including Marketo and travel technology provider Sabre.

“He brings extensive financial and strategic planning experience, which will provide significant value to us as we continue to build and deploy our next-generation technology,” Finastra’s CEO Simon Paris said.

The newly appointed executive will be a member of the company’s executive leadership team and will report directly to Paris, the statement said.
