Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s exports to India surged 41% year-on-year to $1.7 billion last year.

The North African country’s merchandise exports went up to $697 million in 2018 versus $398.7 million a year earlier, according to Egyptian trade representation office in New Delhi.

Egypt’s imports from India grew 18.2% due to the increase in the imports of fuel to $507 million last year from $195 million the year before.
