Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s trade surplus with Japan has declined to $2.09 billion (SAR 7.856 billion) in May, compared to $2.484 billion (SAR 9.315 billion) in the same month a year earlier.

The kingdom’s exports to Japan recorded $2.447billion (SAR 9.178 billion) last month, from $2.732 billion (SAR 10.247 billion) in May 2018, data released by the Japanese Ministry of Finance’s (MoF) showed on Wednesday.

Saudi imports from Japan, the world’s third biggest economy, jumped year-on-year to $352.427 million (SAR 1.321 billion) in May, versus $247.46 million (SAR 931.73 million) in the same period the year before, data showed.
