UAE – Mubasher: Dubai Aerospace Enterprise’s leasing unit, DAE Capital, and Russia’s AirBridgeCargo on Wednesday signed a purchase and leaseback agreement with PDP financing for three factories new Boeing 777 freighter aircraft.

The new jets will be the first of that type to join AirBridgeCargo’s fleet next year, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

“DAE Capital is the world’s largest lessor of 777F aircraft, and our long-term experience with this aircraft type helped in executing this agreement swiftly,” DAE’s CEO Firoz Tarapore said.

DAE owns 15 Boeing 777 freighters.

“Our agreement with Dubai Aerospace Enterprise marks an important moment in our history as we welcome the first Boeing 777 freighters into our fleet. These aircraft will support our strategy of broader fleet diversity and modernisation,” president of Volga-Dnepr Group Aleksey Isaikin commented.
