Mubasher: Gulf Air on Thursday assigned a sponsorship agreement with Civil Aviation Affairs of Bahrain’s transport ministry.

Under the agreement, the state-owned airline will become the official carrier of the Bahrain International Airshow in its 6th and 7th editions in 2020 and 2022, according to Arabian Aerospace website.

“The Bahrain International Airshow 2020 marks a decade of success since it first launched in 2010 and we are very pleased to have had Gulf Air as the official carrier of each of the airshow’s editions and a contributor to its success,” Bahraini transport minister Kamal bin Ahmed said.

The Bahrain International Airshow is a platform for business generation for the global leaders of aerospace in the gateway to the Gulf. 

“We have been the official carrier since the beginning and we are honoured to continue this relationship with our friends at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications,” CEO of Gulf Air Krešimir Kučko commented.
