Egypt’s export support programme comes into effect in July
The new programme aims to enhance the added value of Egyptian exports

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s draft law for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) recently approved by the cabinet and referred to the parliament includes tax, customs, and financing incentives to encourage the informal sector to enter the official economy, the country’s finance minister, Mohamed Maait, said.

The country’s new export support programme will come into effect starting from fiscal year 2019/2020, Maait added in a statement on Thursday.

The new programme aims to enhance the added value of Egyptian exports through developing shipping and logistics processes and focusing on forums and trade missions, he noted.
