Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) general index gained 172.79 points, or 1.64%, to 10,688.67 points in a week.
Market capitalisation went up 2.12% to QAR 590.07 billion ($164.09 billion) over the week, compared to QAR 577.82 billion ($160.69 billion) a week earlier.
A group of five sectors rose during the week, including the banking, transport, and insurance sectors, which added 3.51%, 2.46%, and 1.73%, respectively.
The QSE’s trading volume reached 225.07 million shares, while the market’s liquidity hit QAR 1.693 billion.
