Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s investment minister and international cooperation, Sahar Nasr, has discussed with Google’s managing director for Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Lino Cattaruzzi, the future investments of the company in Egypt and Africa, according to a statement on Sunday.
Google currently considers hiring a team for its Cairo office and injecting new investments in Egypt on the back of improved investment climate after the recent legislature reforms implemented by the Egyptian government, Cattaruzzi said.
Egypt’s investment minister revealed that 33 startups have been supported in cooperation with the ministry of communications and information technology.
