Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Tuesday’s trading session in green territory, breaking four straight drops.

TASI rose by 51 points, or 0.59%, ending the mid-week session at 8,649.88 points.

TASI’s turnover increased to SAR 4.56 billion on Tuesday, compared to SAR 4.44 million on Monday, while the market’s traded volume levelled up to 155.95 million shares from 138 million the session before.

The utilities sector topped the risers and added 3.08%, followed by the software and services sector with 2.3%.

Similarly, the telecommunication sector went up to 1.3%, while the banking and materials sector grew 0.36% and 0.37%, respectively.

On the negative side, the media sector headed the bourse’s four losers falling 0.31%.
