Egypt moves fuel prices on Friday
The per litre price of diesel fuel rose to EGP 6.75

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government has announced new hikes in fuel prices, starting from Friday, 5 July. 

Under the new rates, the per litre prices of 95-Octane, 92-Octane, and 80-Octane fuel reached EGP 9, EGP 8, and EGP 6.75, respectively, according to a statement released by Ministry of Petroleum.

The price of a home gas cylinder was increased to EGP 65, while a commercial gas cylinder was priced up to EGP 130.

The per litre price of diesel fuel rose to EGP 6.75, while the price of mazut fuel increased to EGP 4,500 per tonne.

As for natural gas price, the petroleum ministry revealed that it was raised to EGP 85 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) and to EGP 3.5 per cubic metre.
