Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of directors of Riyadh Bank approved distributing cash dividends worth SAR 1.56 million to shareholders for the first half of 2019.

The bank will pay a cash dividend of SAR 0.52 a share after deduction of zakat, representing 5.2% of the share’s book value, according to a filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Sunday.

The Saudi-based lender will pay the dividends on 24 July.

The eligibility of dividends shall be for the shareholders at the end of trading on 11 July, and as per the registered shareholders in the register of the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) at the end of the second trading day following the eligibility date.

It is worth noting that Riyadh Bank reported a 44.68% year-on-year profit hike in the first quarter of 2019, recording SAR 1.65 billion.
