Mubasher: The shareholders of Al Maidan Dental Clinic approved the board’s recommendation of distributing 7% of the capital as cash dividends for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2019.

The Boursa Kuwait-listed company will pay a total of KWD 1.75 million ($5.8 million) or 7 fils per share dividends for the full year ended in March this year, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.

Al Maidan Dental said that the dividends will be paid on 30 July to the shareholders of record date 28 July.

During the fiscal year ended in March 2019, Al Maidan achieved an increase of 9% in profits to KWD 6.07 million, compared to KWD 5.59 million in the corresponding period a year ago.

Furthermore, the shareholders have elected new board members for the coming three years, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) on Tuesday.
