Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) has signed eight partnership agreements with a slew of investors to establish commercial areas in the governorates of Dakahlia, Sharkia, Menoufia, Beheira, Luxor, and Fayoum.

With EGP 23 billion investments, the new projects will provide about 200,000 direct and indirect jobs, minister of supply Ali Meselhy said in a statement on Wednesday.

The deals included a partnership agreement between Nile Company for Consumer Complexes on one side and Hyper One and United Grocers on the other side.

ITDA will also offer other investment opportunities in the remaining governorates with investments valued at EGP 40 billion, head of ITDA, Ibrahim El-Ashmawy, said.
