ADX ends Monday in red
The bourse’s market capitalisation shed AED 1.60 million

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Monday’s trading session on a negative note.

The ADX’s general index slid 14.31 points, or 0.28%, to 5,041.95 points.

Trading volume amounted to 43.975 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 126.220 million through 1,382 transactions.

The bourse’s market capitalisation shed AED 1.60 million and closed the session at AED 517.563 million.

The energy sector was the sole riser with 1.51%, while the banks, the telecommunication, and the real estate sectors tumbled 0.43%, 0.36%, and 0.03%, respectively.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) was the heavily traded stock with a turnover of AED 29.986 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock in terms of traded volume with 9.515 million shares.
