Mubasher: Oil futures went down at Thursday’s settlement, as US natural gas inventories grew.

August Nymex WTI declined by $1.48, or 2.6%, to close at $55.3 per barrel.

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) stated the US natural gas storage increased by 62 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in the week ended 12 July to a total of 2,533 Bcf.
