Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Wednesday’s trading session with positive performance, encouraged by the growth of blue-chip stocks.

By 10:30 am KSA time, the main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) inched up 0.12%, or 10.31 points, to 8,806.37 points.

TASI’s traded volume reached 11.67 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 287.5 million through 11,770 transactions.

The telecommunication sector topped the risers adding 0.74%, followed by the material and banking sectors with 0.25% and 0.03%, respectively.

On the negative side, the consumer durables and apparel sector headed the decliners falling 1.45%.

On the other hand, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, increased by 0.31%, or 11.71 points, to 3,826.85 points.
