Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has purchased 300,000 tonnes of wheat in an international tender, Reuters reported.
The most populous Arab nation has agreed to purchase 120,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat, 120,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat, and 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat.
GASC launched a tender to buy unspecified amount of wheat from international suppliers to be shipped between 25 August and 5 September.
