The Kingdom’s trade surplus declined to SAR 44.95 billion in May

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s trade surplus registered a decrease of 6.09%, or SAR 2.92 billion, in May compared to the same month in 2018.

The Kingdom’s trade surplus declined to SAR 44.95 billion in May, from SAR 47.87 billion in May 2018, according to a recent report by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics (GaStat).

The GCC country’s total exports and imports reached SAR 131.15 billion by the end of May, versus SAR 144.93 billion in the same period a year ago.

Saudi Arabia’s total exports declined by 8.7% year-on-year to SAR 88.05 billion in May.
