Cairo – Mubasher: Zahraa Maadi Investment and Development recorded a 4.26% year-on-year profit increase during the first half of 2019.  

Net profits inched up to EGP 58.7 million from January to June, compared to EGP 56.3 million in the year-ago period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.

Year-on-year, total sales rose to EGP 127.3 million in the six-month period ended 30 June from EGP 123.1 million.

Meanwhile, revenues amounted to EGP 91.1 million in H1-19, compared to EGP 92.2 million in H1-18.

During the first quarter of 2019, the company’s net profits grew to EGP 34.27 million from EGP 31.59 million in Q1-18.

Zahraa Maadi’s sales stood at EGP 92.92 million in the three-month period ended 31 March, compared to EGP 74.03 million in the prior-year period.
