Blue chips push up Saudi indices at Tuesday’s close
TASI’s turnover decreased to SAR 2.55 billion on Tuesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session with positive performance, supported by the growth of blue chips.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up by 0.14%, or 11.81 points, ending the session at 8,740.93 points.

TASI’s turnover decreased to SAR 2.55 billion on Tuesday, from SAR 3.01 billion on Tuesday, while trading volume levelled down to 108.52 million shares, compared to 121.22 million shares in the previous session.

The transportation sector topped the risers adding 1.5%, followed by the banking and telecommunication sectors with 0.4%, each.

On the negative side, the real estate sector headed the losers falling 2.7%, while the utilities sector plunged by 1.4%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, went up 0.8%, or 29.93 points, reaching 3,832.42 points.
