Riyadh – Mubasher: Northern Region Cement Company turned to profit during the second quarter of 2019, as profit after Zakat and taxes grew to SAR 14.07 million.

The company ascribed its profit to the increase in the average sales price and the growth of export sales, according to a bourse statement released on Tuesday.

Quarter-on-quarter, Northern Cement’s declined by 9.3% from the first quarter of 2019.

The Tadawul-listed company reported SAR 29.58 million net profit during the first six months of the year.

Northern Cement posted a 47% year-on-year drop in its profits for the first quarter of 2019, recording SAR 40.14 million.
